Indian Law Section


The purpose of the Section is to establish and maintain an organization comprised of Montana attorneys who are engaged in or interested in the practice of Indian law. The Section will seek to provide a forum for the exchange of information relevant to the practice of Indian Law.

Membership benefits include: 

  • Listserve: The ILS listserve features upcoming section sponsored events and activities, thumbnails and links to current national news and events, and provides a forum for networking and discussion among ILS members.
  • CLE Series: The ILS continues to sponsor Indian Law Week events at the University of Montana School of Law. 

How to Join

Any member of the State Bar of Montana may join. Section dues are $20 per year. Become a member HERE.
