Are you PCI Compliant?
Credit card security and PCI Compliance is mandatory for all businesses accepting creait cards. Many of you have already heard of Payment Card Industry Compliance (PCI) and are in the process of completing your program which consists of two major parts – making sure you are using compliant service providers and ensuring that you are physically protecting credit card data in your office at all times. Affiniscape Merchant Solutions has developed a simple 3-step PCI Compliance program and resource center at www.PCICentral.com. PCI Deadlines Have Come and Gone
Most major card processors required compliance by July 1, 2010. Many banks will or have already imposed fees upon merchants that have not become compliant. We encourage members to contact their merchant bank to confirm deadlines and fees.
